Courchevel is at one end of the world’s largest lift-linked ski area, the Trois Vallées, which has 600 km of pistes and over 170 lifts, and the gate of the natural park of la Vanoise.
Because of the north-facing aspect of many of Courchevel's local slopes, the snow here is usually some of the best in the whole ski area, and there's terrain to suit everyone from beginner to expert. Getting there/location and access:
Nearby airport: Geneva and Lyon, the biggest, with the most flights,are around two hours 15 minutes’ transfer by road.
Or you can opt for Chambery airport, a shorter transfer (around one and a half hours), much quieter.
By Eurostar direct service to Moutiers. The train station is around 25 minutes from Courchevel.
